Our fishing season starts the 3rd Saturday in April every year when our Trophy Striped Bass season comes in. This season lasts through May 15th where we are targeting Striped Bass 35” and up, trolling up to 34 lines at one time. This is your best chance of the year with us to get your chance at a giant rockfish with some of these fish tipping the scales at over 50 lbs. From May 15th through midJune, we begin to target the schoolie class of striped bass, 20”-30”, with lighter tackle trolling and chumming, these trips are great for all groups, especially for the little ones due to the pretty constant action most days. Usually around June 15th, we head back to Reedville to start our cobia trips, we specialize in chumming and livelining on large spinning tackle for these fish which mostly range from 20-50 lbs a piece and put up a great fight. They aren’t known as the poor man’s marlin for no reason with their great strength and acrobatic maneuvers at times. During the summer months, we also target big Red Drum, bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and all types of bottom fish. In October, we start to switch back over targeting Striped Bass again on light tackle livelining and jigging and switching over to more trolling gear as the bigger fish show back up in midNovember through the end of the year, the Anna Lynn has a heated cabin with plenty of room to stay warm on your way to and from the fishing grounds.
